It would be *insane* to ask every reporter if his bug is fixed *even before
uploading the package*. Do you want every reporter to build himself the package
from our svn to test it before we close it? Do you want us to wait for their
replies? No way, sorry.

You can always reopen the bug if it's not fixed. Isn't it?
