Bug#536531: gdm: please split gdmsetup into separate package

Severity: wishlist

Please consider splitting gdmsetup into a separate binary package, for the
following reasons:

* Gdmsetup is not required for gdm to function, nor related to the core gdm
  functionality.
* Gdmsetup runs as root. I am not interested in running X programs as root.
* Gdmsetup has its own dependencies (gksu), the presence of which not
  necessarily desirable on a system.
