Bug#538709: power button not working anymore

After updating to the devicekit-power based g-p-m the power button on my machine
shows no effect (I have it set to "Shutdown" in the Gnome power management preferences).
This used to work in g-p-m 2.24.4-3.

lsof shows that the two power button input devices are only opened by some hald-addon-input
processes (and _not_ by the X server).
