Bug#538803: eog: segmentation fault after 3 or 4 images

eog crashes with some image collections (not all). The segmentation fault happens only when I am watching the images one after the other, with the (the forward arrow). It nevers happens on the first image.
e.g. 
  $ eog img_12.jpg 
will never crash. But:
  $ eog img_10.jpg 
then two images forward will crash. It happens often after 3 or 4 image forwards, no matter which image. Actually, it seems that the problem happends with pictures taken with the Canon EOS 350D (in several image collections).
