Bug#539079: gnome-applets: system monitor applet thinks that ppp0 is some internal link and not classical internet connection

System monitor applet in my Gnome since upgrade few days or weeks ago doesn't consider ppp0 as standard internet connection... 

It displays some traffic, but in color for "Local" and in on-over window it displays: "Receiving 0 bytes/s Sending 0 bytes/s"

Seems to be some small regression, though it worked for few last years...
