Bug#532799: nautilus: Home folder always opens on startup.

When I boot my system and login to my desktop I am presented with a
Nautilus File Browser window opened with my home directory shown.  This
is a minor annoyance as the first thing I do is to close this window. It
is a bit awkward having habitualized to do this every time I start.   It
would be nice if it didn't force this window on me at startup.
Everything else appears to be working fine.  I have been keeping up with
Debian unstable releases.  Perhaps the upgrade path left some preference
area corrupted and Nautilus is unable to save a flag that I don't want
the home folder to appear on startup?
