Hi, The upgrade caused the same problem on my laptop. This is not a duplicate of the old bug report. It looks as if some window manipulation functions have gone crazy. Successfully downgraded to the previous version from http://ftp.cica.es/mirrors/Linux/debian/debian/pool/main/m/metacity/ V
