Bug#518862: vino: listening on :5900 even though /desktop/gnome/remote_access/enabled=false

i can confirm this behavior.

the gconf key "/desktop/gnome/remote_access/enabled" is set to "false" but a vino-server process is running and listening on port 5900.

i do not have vino-server in my ~/.gnome2/session.

to mitigate this i set "/desktop/gnome/remote_access/local_only" to "true" so it listens to localhost only.
