Bug#519437: libgnome2-0: gnome-open does not open URLs and local .html files correctly

With my Gnome preferred browser set to either iceweasel or sensible-browser,
nothing seems to happen when I do
    gnome-open http://www.google.com

Also, if I do
    gnome-open localfile.html
I get a partially-drawn Abiword window that is non-responsive -- I
have to force-quit it.
