Hm, perhaps my description was a bit short. I click on the font selector and
the font list opens (here the arrow keys work, but that's not what I want).
Then selecting a font would leave the focus on the font selection box in
2.22.3, so I could then use the arrow keys to go through the font list and the
chosen font is shown immediately. In 2.24.3 selecting a font returns the focus
to the last used "main widget" - the character table, unicode block list etc.
