Bug#528832: totem-gstreamer does not support surround sound

When playing a file with surround sound (audio or video) with Totem, not all the channels are rendered.
On my Thinkpad X60 (ICH7 sound card) I have no surround speakers setup, and only the sound coming from the front left and right channels is rendered; sound coming from all other channels is lost.

I have attached a surround sound file for you to check on your side.
