We'd need a gdb backtrace. Running panel-test-applets in gdb won't probably
work, so you would need to run the applet directly, but I'm not sure how you can
do that, so if you can't work it out, you could set the maximum core size to
unlimited (using ulimit -c) and then get a backtrace from the core file.
