No, they didn't (I tried various ways for a while and then gave up), 
and I don't think any of them were wrong. libgnomekbd2 was replaced by 
libgnomekbd3, but libgnomekbd3 did not say so, so package dependency 
resolution failed.

By what?  libgnomekbd3 does not seem to obsolete it.  Does some other 
thing say to remove it?  I don't know enough about Debian packaging to 
say.
