Bug#483832: gnome-terminal: Very slow, but only for width > 111.

Dear Guilherme,

I also experience some very strong slowness with gnome-terminal – when
resizing the window or simply when outputting a lot of text with the
cat command – but I realised it happened only when the window's width
was higher than 111. This leaves me quite puzzled, but it is quite
reproducible. Just let me know what I can test to help you find this bug.
