Subject: gnome-power-manager: "xset dpms force off" don't keep display off
Package: gnome-power-manager
Version: 2.28.1-2
Severity: normal

Hi.

After upgrade to 2.28.1-2 in SID, "xset dpms force off" shut down the display for few seconds then the display is resumed even if PC is idle.

If i kill the "gnome-power-manager" process, I don't have problems and the display is off until a key press or move touchpad.
If "gnome-power-manager" process is active, the display don't stay off.

I kill gnome-power-manager first. Start 'gnome-power-manager --verbose', then 'xset dpms force off'.
The output is in the attachment.

Regards.
Matteo Aquilano.
