Hi,

the above version of Rhythmbox fixes the bug for me, yay! ;)

As andy reported the the same issue with MP3 files I did the steps he
used to reproduce the the bug and can also confirm that replay-gain
works for MP3 files again. Andy, can you confirm this?

Also the upstream changelog (/usr/share/doc/rhythmbox/changelog.gz)
contains a commit message about the issue:
