Using XAA with no offscreen pixmaps option was to fix
iceweasel display corruption, it is an old bug that had a
hacked fix in libcairo2 under lenny but was never actually
fixed, they have taken the hack out of libcairo2 so it has
to be fixed in the driver now.

It doesn't matter if I turn the XAA options off, use default
options, use EXA, or whatever. Actually, with EXA now I see
gnome background image corruption even when switching from
another tty with ctl-atl-F7. (See attached.) This clears
up when I pass another window over the areas, or when I use
gksu and it redraws the screen after shading it.

Again, this problem only started happening after I selected
a theme, which I'd never done before. But let's reassign to
the intel driver and see what they say... any suggestions
for an xorg.conf that works?
