Package: meta-gnome2
Version: 2.28+7
Severity: minor
Tags: squeeze

Hi, the gnome meta-package currently recommends the remmina package, which
leads to installation of this package whenever the gnome package is installed
(for example through tasksel during a fresh system install). This happens
although the gnome-desktop-environment package, on which the gnome package
depends, already depends on "vinagre (>= 2.28) | remmina". Long story short:
Whenever you install the gnome package, remmina gets pulled in by the gnome
package although vinagre is already installed through the gnome-desktop-
environment package. Please get the packages' dependencies and recommends in a
consistent state. Phew, complicated isn't it? ;) Cheers, Fabian
