OK, it hasn't been applied and I think I know why. You should have applied the
debdiff with -p0, and not with -p1. Look at debian/patches/series to know it, if
that file is empty you did it wrong. Apply it again with -p0, that file should
contain "01_fix_invalid_free.patch". Then build it again and see if the crash
persists.
