Limited Medical Indemnity lnsurance

Surviving September 23, 2010



With each passing month, more information is made available about the fate
of health care as we knew it.  The environment surrounding individual and
group major medical plans is drastically changing and subject to the
majority of new PPACA health care regulations. As a direct outcome,
limited medical indemnity plans continue to see growth and expansion.
However, not all limited medical indemnity plans are created equal –
some are still subject to PPACA regulation. In order to take advantage of
this growth trend you must: Have a compliant limited medical plan to offer
and make sure it will remain compliant beyond January 1, 2014.   







Expense Incurred Indemnity plans issue certificates of credible coverage,
are co-lnsurance/ded., and function similarly to major medical coverage
–these types of plans will be subject to the September 23, 2010 changes.
Fixed Indemnity plans, likeCore Health lnsurance, are filed as
