So far, the only thing you have managed to achieve is to convince me
(and a number of other people on IRC) that you have no clear vision for
package management on the desktop.

So you might say “that’s the way to go”, but unless you convince
maintainers of other, related packages to work with you, you won’t go
anywhere.
