The /apps/nautilus/preferences/exit_with_last_window preference was set
to false by default because of #538108.
To avoid nautilus mounting media, you also need to
set /apps/nautilus/preferences/media_automount to false.
I have to say, the very idea of moving media automounting from a
separate daemon (gnome-volume-manager) to nautilus itself is completely
brain-dead. And it’s not something we can fix at the distribution level.
