Bug#570922: gvfs: launching gparted causes duplicate entries for partitions in nautilus 'Places'

Package: gvfs
Version: 1.4.3-1
Severity: normal
Since a few months, launching gparted causes duplicate entries for partitions in nautilus side panel 'Places'.
I attached a screen capture to the bug report as it would be easy to see the duplicate entries.
This bug is not easy to understand.
I would say though I'm not sure, the bug appeared since gvfs has a new dependency on devicekit-disks.
Regarding dependencies, gparted and devicekit-disks both depend on libparted.
The duplicate partitions appear unmounted and they only exist in gvfs aware applications.
Only partitions within extended partitions are duplicated (true for my setup [sda5, sda6, sdb5], but for others?).
Stopping 'udevd' instances prevents nautilus from displaying the duplicates (but that is expected behavior).
More interesting, stopping 'gvfs-gdu-volume-monitor' process also prevents nautilus from duplicating logical partitions.
There is a gnome bug report that looks similar : https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=597420 while this same behavior is triggered differently (customising fstab of ubuntu boxes).
Though I'm pretty sure the cause of this bug is not debian specific, I don't know if it's appropriate for a user to open a bug upstream, could you tell me ?
Thanks for your work,
Alan.
