Bug#550942: invisible cursor at X launch

I'm getting the same problem in SID for somes days.
I'm affected with fluxbox and I use an .xinitrc
The cursor is invisible (but active, "mouseovers" show that).
If I launch rxvt-unicode and set it in fullscreen then the cursor
comes visible (and then stays in this state).
Other applications I tried with doesn't give the same effect.


(I don't use modsetting due to #569718, AFAI can guess it is maybe
related to the i915 driver but I still need to try with vesa)
