But in case of gnome-bluetooth and blueman to me it seems that the goals
of both are not the same:
- gnome-bluetooth (just as the rest of gnome) tries to be as simple as
possible, less configurable and useful for simple aplications
- blueman on the other hand implements more features, has various
plugins and has a more advanced user interface (that I like more)

If the correct solution is one working implementation, then it should
have an Advanced button for other options somewhere and should not offer
less features as any of the deprecated solutions (which is clearly the
case here, because the "deprecated" blueman implements everything and a
lot more)...

Anyway, the correct solution is not yet ready, so a trivial temporary
solution for blueman installation problems should be that
gnome-user-share works with both obexd-server and obex-data-server.
