Since the recent update of Xorg, gdm does not log-in automatically upon
start-up (of the computer), while 'Automatic Login' is enabled.
However, with a manual restart of gdm (invoke-rc.d gdm restart), it works.

Actually, gdm seems to have difficulty to load since this X update: it
temporary returns to a console, flashes a bit and then the greeter stabilizes...

My graphic card:
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G72M [Quadro NVS 110M/GeForce Go 7300] (rev a1)
I use the proprietary drivers (190.42).
