Bug#564859: nautilus: what's the difference between "unmount" and "safely remove"

Package: nautilus
Version: 2.28.4-1
Severity: minor

Hi,

if I right-click on a removable drive, nautilus presents me (among others) the two options "unmount" and "safely remove" without explaining the difference between both. I mean, to safely remove a device you need to unmount it and once it is unmounted you can safely remove it. For me both options sound synonymical; if it's just a matter of bad wording, it should be improved. Thus this bug report.

Cheers,
Fabian
