Bug#588308: gnome-settings-daemon: Crashes (randomly) when closing an application

Hi,

Thanks for the quick response, Josselin. I followed instructions from the wiki, 
used "run --debug --no-daemon" command and noticed two crashes, i.e., get 
dropped back to the gdb prompt. However, when gnome-settings-daemon is in this 
debugging mode, the theme wasn't screwed at crash as it is when 
gnome-settings-daemon crashes in "normal" mode (or when you simply "kill" it).

In the attachment are files with the terminal output in both cases. Please, let 
me know if this is the output you need and if I should do anything else.

Sorry but just like Ubuntu we are not able to debug a crash without any
information.

You need to install libglib2.0-0-dbg and libgtk2.0-0-dbg, rebuild
gnome-settings-daemon with debugging symbols, and attach a debugger to
the gnome-settings-daemon process. See
