Bug#580627: gdm3 - improper greeter crash detection

gdm3 seems to have some sort of crash detection. Under normal
circumstances, it stops trying to start the greeter after five to eight
tries. However it does not provide any diagnostic to the user.

However, after I started the whole gdm3 within strace to find some hints
about other crashs, something that changes the timing of the processes,
it tries to restart the X server and greeter without any chance to stop
it.
