Bug#581651: crazy handling of mutt as mail client

Package: epiphany-browser
Version: 2.30.2-1
Severity: normal
In preferred applications, the Mail Reader can be configured to use
"Mutt". Not a custom command, but a canned application. From a desktop
file somewhere? If I do this, clicking on mailto links in epiphany
results in mutt being run w/o a controlling terminal. It then
desperately sends an empty mail to the specified address. This is not
desirable.
I went into preferred applications and selected "Custom" and told
it to run mutt, in a terminal, and that fixed that.
