Bug#576792: NFS mount problem may be same bug?

I've got the same problem on one of my PCs:- nautilus is unaware of me
plugging in any of my USB drives. I did a dist-upgrade today and it's
still broken (even after a reboot). My NFS mounts behave oddly too. I
have two defined:

htpc:/mnt/xfs	/media/htpc.xfs nfs	user,users,noauto,nolock 0 0
htpc:/home/tony	/media/htpc.home nfs	user,users,noauto,nolock 0 0

(FWIW they're both ext4 now, one of them is called xfs for historic
reasons).

When I start my desktop htpc.xfs gets automatically mounted even though
I don't want it to be. I also get spurious removal/adding events
reported by gvfs-mount -oi for htpc.home when I do any action with a USB
drive. I'm attaching some logs from gvfs-mount:

startup.txt: -li just after starting up
insert.txt: -oi while I insert a USB drive
pmount.txt: -oi while I pmount /dev/sdb1
pumount.txt: -oi while I pumount /dev/sdb1
remove.txt: -oi while I remove the USB drive
