I still don’t know WTF you are talking about. I couldn’t care less about
Macs if that’s the question.

No, you are probably looking for something that will automatically load
the browser selected in GConf instead of using an alternative. That
would be xdg-open, since sensible-browser doesn’t do that (arguably
that’s a bug in sensible-browser).
