Package: gnome-nettool
Version: 2.30.0-2
Severity: important

I can't ping using gnome-nettool. I ran it as root from ther terminal, it
brought up the gui. What it is trying to do is this.

command: /bin/ping ping -b -c 5 -n google.com

If I try running the same exact think from the terminal it doesn't work either
-

# /bin/ping ping -b -c 5 -n google.com
PING google.com (72.14.204.103) 56(124) bytes of data.

--- google.com ping statistics ---
5 packets transmitted, 0 received, 100% packet loss, time 4005ms

However if I take out the /bin/ping or the ping and just run either -

# /bin/ping -b -c 5 -n google.com or ping -b -c 5 -n google.com it works -
64 bytes from 72.14.204.99: icmp_req=1 ttl=53 time=51.5 ms
64 bytes from 72.14.204.99: icmp_req=2 ttl=53 time=38.5 ms
64 bytes from 72.14.204.99: icmp_req=3 ttl=53 time=39.7 ms
64 bytes from 72.14.204.99: icmp_req=4 ttl=53 time=38.0 ms
64 bytes from 72.14.204.99: icmp_req=5 ttl=53 time=59.1 ms

--- google.com ping statistics ---
5 packets transmitted, 5 received, 0% packet loss, time 4006ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 38.086/45.410/59.122/8.481 ms

So apprently gnome-nettool is trying to run /bin/ping ping and that is what is
making it not work just as it didn't work either for me when I type in the
termina /bin/ping ping
