Bug#602949: Mutter 2.29/2.31 (and metacity 2.30) doesn't recognize real screen size properly

I've tried with:

* cairo-dock 2.1.3.10-4
* libcairo2 1.8.10-6

from debian unstable repo, to see if the problem was cairo-dock's ppa
unstable version or my self-packaged and patched libcairo2*. But the
problem persists, nothing change on my desktop.
Also with metacity 1:2.30.1-3 these applications don't recognize screen
size as they should do.
