Package: gnome-terminal
Version: 2.30.2-1
Severity: normal

--- Please enter the report below this line. ---
After updating squeeze I've noticed that gnome-terminal has become slow.

When I hold some key (especially Ctrl+C or Enter) it types characters
slowly and consumes much CPU.

Setting from "Transparent background" to "Solid color" fixed the problem.

lxterminal shows transparent background and works normally.
