Package: gnome-session
Version: 2.30.2-1
gnome-session from 2.30 version begin depend on gnome-panel, nautilus, metacity, policykit-1-gnome packages. 2.22 version do not depend on them: only recomends gnome-panel, nautilus, metacity packages.
gnome-session works fine without this four packages. Now we just can not use gnome-session without them. Just imagine systems that doesn't require gnome-panel's, nautilus's, metacity's, policykit-1-gnome's cool stuff but require graphic interface, GDM and gnome-session. In case for 2.32 version we had to use x-session, xdm and so on wich do not require Nautilus and Gnome panel.
I'm sure that gnome-session 2.30 is not worser than x-session in this aspect and doesn't require this four packages for work.
I suggest to switch gnome-panel, nautilus, metacity, policykit-1-gnome packages from dependence to recomended packages for gnome-session.
