Bug#596712: gnome-volume-control: fails to start with gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio installed

Hi,

On my system, gnome-volume-control fails to start (autostart or from
command line) if the package gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio is installed.
Otherwise, it works fine.  No particular error message are displayed as
far as I can tell.
Let me know if more information is needed.
