Bug#598278: gnome-terminal: tabs are uglier than in previous version

The font used in tab titles no longer matches the system default,
and the active/inactive color distinction seems to have disappeared.

I'm attaching two screenshots, from version 2.22.3-3 and 2.30.2-1, to
illustrate what I'm talking about.
