I cannot reproduce this issue with Epiphany 2.30.6. [1] works fine and
the »Verify Java Version« [2] just displays that the Java version is
outdated.
There are some sites with JavaScript which do let the CPU go to 100 %.
But Epiphany does not crash.
So I am wondering if this bug should be reassigned to libwebkit-1.0-2
and then be closed – also the upstream bug – or merged with other
reports.
If not, please tell me another way to reproduce this.
Thanks,
Paul
PS: Andres, if you have a followup in the future, but you do not have
the original message of the report, you can use
$ bts show --mbox 551395 # or another number
to get the messages in mbox format and then import this into your MUA.
`bts` is in the package `devscripts`. I see you used `reportbug`, but it
looks like it does not set the `References` or `In-Reply-To` headers, so
threading is not preserved.
