Good catch. This was caused by a wrong conversion script:
picture-uri = /desktop/gnome/background/picture_filename

Yeah sure, expect an uri, find a filename. Way to go.

Since the conversion scripts are not able to add the missing “file:///”
in the front, upstream chose to no longer migrate this setting in 3.0.1.
I think we could do better by still supporting old-style filenames in
the new settings, but I don’t know if it’s worth the effort.
