Bug#651956: Error: Unexpected lack of content trying to read a line

Hi,

Running it under ktrace may reveal what was actually being read, as
described in:

It could be one of the files in /proc, in which case this could be an
occurrence of bug #650667, and so it might work on kfreebsd-9
9.0~svn227451-7.
