Package: gnome
Version: 1:2.30+7
Severity: normal
Hi,
In various situations (in gnome-terminal, pidgin, iceweasel, ...), when I try
doing alt-1,2,3,4 to switch between tabs, the combination doesn't work. If I
test with xev, nothing to say for Xorg. If I see configuration (i.e. gnome-terminal)
all is good (alt-1,2,3 appears in front of the name of each tab in Tabs menu
of gnome-terminal, shortcuts are enabled).
I use a French keyboard 105 keys. To do alt+1, I do alt+shift+1 (& key on the
French keyboard).
Read to test things to help you seeing if it's a bug, if yes what is it and test
fixes. Hope it'll be fixed for squeeze too as there is also the issue.
Sincerely,
