Package: gksu
Version: 2.0.2-5
Severity: important
First I updated my system from "Lenny" to "Squeeze" and when I click on the
item
"Synaptic" with my mouse nothing happens!!!
Second I start it from the gnome-terminal with the following command:
su-to-root -X -c /usr/sbin/synaptic
I get the message:
(process:2842): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
Using the fallback 'C' locale.
(gksu:2842): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_str_has_prefix: assertion `str != NULL' failed
Third I am in the group "adm" and my rights are:
ls -l /usr
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 12288 24. Jan 10:21 sbin
As well my kernel 2.6.32 as the kernel 2.6.37 have the same problem.
Versions:
gksu 2.0.2-5
synaptic 0.70~pre1+b1
Hope you can help me and others with that problem.
Sorry for that bad English;-(
Kind regards
Werner Findeiß
