Hi,

I can't print anymore from any gtk-using application. My setup is as follows:

- CUPS server on the network which sends browsing information
- CUPS daemon locally which has 'Browsing on' and which accepts this
  browsing information. Printing with 'lpr' (the cups version of that
  command) works just fine.
- When I wish to print from any GTK-using application, the printing
  dialog shows the printer, and says 'Printer is ready'. However, when I
  click on that printer to select it, GTK claims it cannot retrieve
  information about the printer and disables the "print" button.

If I just select 'print to file' instead and then feed the resulting
postscript file to lpr, it comes out just fine. That's an okay
workaround, but it's fairly stupid that it's necessary in the first
place.
