$ gnome-terminal --window
correctly spawns a new window.
$ gnome-terminal --window --geometry +160+25
also makes a new window, but an additional line is printed with an color-
inverted % in zsh, and a linefeed (or something like that) with dash (cursor is
moved one line down)
With bash, the first character of the prompt is in the first line, the rest is
moved down a line...
