Thomas, please keep me in the loop as and when any updates happen (or
not). For reasons known and unknown, it seems the GNOME 3 transition
is crawling. For e.g. see
http://www.0d.be/debian/debian-gnome-3.0-status.html , that is the
link I use to keep track of the whole GNOME 3 transition to unstable.
