Bug#627477: nautilus: Single-Click to Open Files does not take affect

I can't say much more. If I click on single-click to open files, it doesn't
work. I still need to double click. If  i select double click, when i open
nautilus up again, it goes back to single click, but i still need to double
click.

So even if single-click is selected, i still need to double click.

IF I select double-click, i need to double click, but next time i open the
selection goes back to single-click, even though i can't single click, i have
to double click.

Arch Linux has Nautilus 3.0 without this issue.
