Bug#647779: brasero creates .jpg files with normal size that can not be opened any application

brasero creates .jpg files with normal size that can not be opened with any
application and other files like MS excel are empty documents

in the case of .jpg images Eye of GNOME 2.30.2 launches this error (Not a JPEG
file: starts with 0x00 0x00) when triying to open the files, gimp can neither
open these files

other files like microsoft excel files can be openned with open office calc or
gnumeric but they
show as empty documents, the media is a non rerecordable DVD burned as
multisession disk

in both cases the file size looks apparently normal
