Bug#649203: libgtk-3-0: GTK+ 3.2 rendering issues/theme backwards incompatibility

Here's a screenshot of gcalctool once I upgraded to GTK+ 3.2. The
menubar, menus themselves and menu highlight seem to have lost their
borders.

Are these examples of the theme-related strangeness you mentioned?
