This bug has a few possible fixes in upstream bug https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160441 Unfortunately patch in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=160441#c21 does not directly apply to squeeze version at least. But the concept should work anyway.
